Andy Hardy (Rooney) returns home from a stint in the Army and is headed back to college. Before leaving however a gorgeous exotic singer literally throws herself at him and he barely notices... you see Andy is in love. Arriving by train at college he throws his heart and soul into rekindling his relationship with his old girlfriend (Granville). Naturally all of Andy's plans for romance turn on him time and again. Only his father Judge Hardy (Stone) can save Andy from himself in this madcap romantic comedy.
