This parable looks at public reaction when the hair of an American war orphan mysteriously turns green. Peter Frye(Dean Stockwell)is a war orphan whose parents were killed in an air raid.He wakes up one morning to find his hair has turned green. He meets with bitter prejudice and hatred from his fellow citizens, yet continues to express a belief that came to him in a vision: all wars must stop. An interesting parable and social commentary, with a fine performance by Stockwell as the alienated youth.

The Flying Tigers stars John Wayne, who is fightin' mad as the squadron leader of a group of American pilots-for-hire in World War II China. Not only are they wildly outnumbered by the Japanese, but they have plenty of problems within their own ranks. Things really heat up after the Duke's best friend gets a couple of pilots killed thanks to his pointless hotdogging. Wayne stands by his friend, helps the Chinese people, and manages to pitch a little woo with one of the British nurses on the scene; all in all, not a bad day's work.
